Justin Marshall is an educational consultant and teacher who specializes in college admissions and career development.

As an instructor, Justin has taught at Columbia University’s School of the Arts, and spent four years as an adjunct faculty member at the Katharine Gibbs School in New York, where he led courses on Career Development. He has also taught English in Japan and tutored privately for many years.

A senior consultant at Forster-Thomas/Essay Solutions, one of the top educational consulting firms in the country, Justin coaches MBA applicants on crafting and writing their admissions essays. He prides himself on his interactive mentoring style and a successful track record that has gained clients admissions to many Top 10 schools including Harvard, Wharton, Berkeley, UCLA, Kellogg, and Darden.

Justin’s book How To Write An Essay was published in 2006 for the SparkNotes Ultimate Style series. Now in its 2nd edition, it is on the Recommended Reading Lists of various post-secondary schools. He also contributed to sections of the book Film Classics, and has written Arts and Music reviews for The Minneapolis City Pages.
