Elizabeth Berger, author of Raising Kids With Character: Developing Trust and Personal Integrity in Children, is a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist with 30 years experience. She is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and has been on the faculty of the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons; Northwestern University Medical School; University of Cincinnati College of Medicine; and MCP-Hanemann School of Medicine.

Dr. Berger is a member of the nationally known "Commission on Children at Risk" and has presented the group's scientific findings in Washington, DC. She appears on panels and public forums as well as on national television and radio. She is widely quoted in magazines such as Parents, Child and Newsweek.
