How Do I Curb Post-Workout Hunger?
Q: I'm so hungry after a workout, how can I curb my appetite and the urge to reward myself for even making it to the gym?
A: Before you get to the gym make sure you have the proper fuel in your system to help you through your workout. The best pre-workout snack is a protein and a carbohydrate. My favorite is apple slices with peanut butter or plain low fat yogurt with fresh fruit. Keep your rewards out of the cupboard! Instead, substitute a massage or a manicure.
