Mark Banschick, M.D., is a child and adolescent psychiatrist in full-time private practice in Katonah, NY. He is a graduate of Georgetown University Hospital in general psychiatry and New York Hospital/Cornell Weil Medical Center in child and adolescent psychiatry. He is an adjunct professor at Hebrew Union College where he teaches in the doctor of ministry program. He is published in the fields of child development, adolescence and spirituality, kids in cyberspace and integrative medicine.

Dr. Banschick has been interested in the natural dynamics of marital life, after serving as an expert witness in court for custody matters. He is working on a series of essays called “The Baby Bomb” which deal with the impact of children on marriage — both for good and for bad. Presently, he is finishing a book entitled The Intelligent Divorce which is modeled after a course by the same name. Dr. Banschick has appeared on radio and on national television.
