Susan Newman, Ph.D. is a social psychologist and author of thirteen books on relationship and parenting issues, including most recently, "The Book of NO: 250 Ways to Say It—and Meant It." She has also penned "Stop People-Pleasing Forever," "Nobody’s Baby Now: Reinventing Your Adult Relationship with Your Mother and Father," the best-selling "Little Things Long Remembered: Making Your Children Feel Special Every Day" and "Parenting An Only Child: The Joys and Challenges of Raising Your One and Only," among others.

Dr. Newman is a member of the American Psychological Association, The Authors Guild, and The American Society of Journalists and Authors.
