Over a ten-year period, while a pop culture and business correspondent on CNN's "Showbiz Today" and "Your Money," Ms. Brooke got divorced, happily remarried and thrust into the world of step-parenting. As a result, she started reporting on divorce and blended families and became an expert in this field. Her contributions to The New York Times have included, "Honey, I'll Marry You But No Kids," Living Apart Together (LAT) Relationships," and "Revenge Decor." She has also written for New York Magazine, AdWeek, Harpers Bazaar, Chicago Tribune, Metropolitan Home, Good Housekeeping, Family Circle and Ladies' Home Journal. Earlier in her career, Ms. Brooke worked at ABC's "Nightline" and as an entertainment columnist for the New York Post. While at the Post, she revamped Hampton's Magazine and later became the Editor in Chief of Travel Savvy, Avenue, and Show Circuit Magazine. She has also been a contributor to CBS' "Early Show" where she did several series on divorce, and is the author of the bestselling book, "Don't Let Death Ruin Your Life", which was featured on "Oprah". She has been writing for the web since 1998 when CNN started their Internet division. Mr. Brooke is a certified Stepfamily Foundation coach, and is currently finishing her second book, "The Wacky World of Divorce".
