Heather, an actor, was married twice in 10 years. Her first husband died of a drug overdose and her second marriage fell apart after her ex refused to move back to New York so that she could pursue her career. The divorce left her feeling like a failure.

poignant and helpful portrait. I remember seeing this here four years ago and it struck a chord with me then, as it does now....but more time has passed now. I'm still surprised when a new failure triggers a disproportionate sense of loss (because it reminds you of the past) but now I also know that it does get easier as you work through more.
