A Dip In The Dating Pool?

For those of you who have been reading my blogs on men and dating, this will be quite shocked to hear.

The other night, while out with a friend, I gave a guy my phone number.

To be honest, I have no idea why I did.

His looks were decent, pretty average, and he seemed like a pretty nice guy. It certainly was not a situation where I felt really attracted to him and was hoping for a date. In fact, he was all over me, and it was pretty easy for me to keep my distance.

After talking for a bit and running into him and his friend at two different bars — by coincidence — I caved and gave him my number when he asked.

Who knows if he'll call, and I honestly don't care if he does or doesn't. If he does call, I'm not even sure I would meet up for a drink or dinner.

Maybe I'll just tell him I was really drunk — I wasn't — when I gave him my number and thanks but no thanks.
