Is Sara Evans Sexing It Up?

We like to think that country singers make up the conservative end of the music biz. But, amid a nasty divorce, country star Sara Evans is being accused by her husband, Craig Schelske, of nearly a dozen affairs.

Nothing has been proven, but a 118-page court document filed this week by Schelske's lawyers asks Evans to admit to affairs or romantic relationships with at least eleven people, including members of her band, members of the band 3 Doors Down, Kenny Chesney, Richard Marx and Tony Dovolani, her former Dancing With The Stars partner.

Evans filed for divorce late last year after Schelske alleged that he learned of his wife's "intimate relationship" during a dinner at a swank Los Angeles restaurant. Evans, meanwhile, has previously alleged that there are nude photos of Schelske having sex with other women.

Evans has not yet responded to the court filings, which offer no evidence that Evans actually had any of the eleven alleged affairs. So, at this point, we can only assume that Schelske is using his extremely vivid imagination to drag his famous wife's name through the mud; there's some truth to his accusation; or a combination of the two. Either way, Evans and her ex-hubby are giving the rockers and rappers who round out the industry a run for their money. Regardless of genre, artistic privilege can only be taken so far.
