Whacked! Is The Guy You’re Dating MIA? Maybe He Pulled A Soprano…
A special shoutout to Mackenzie Dawson of the New York Post for informing us about a new phrase that says it all about something you could never find the words to explain.
The phrase is: "To pull A Sopranos' ending". Finally! A short and succinct way to describe what the heck happens in relationships that could never quite be put into words.
Likening the finale of “The Sopranos” to the ending of some relationships nails it.
You know the kind when everything appears to be going great and then “boom…the screen fades to black and you never hear from him again,” wrote Dawson, adding, “You and your friends will come up with 75 different interpretations of what happened, but the truth is, you’ll never know.”
It’s kind of like when Carrie on “Sex and the City” was broken up with on a Post It.
Dawson reports the correct usage for the new dating move: “Tim and I were seeing each other for three weeks and I thought everything was fine, but then he pulled a ‘Sopranos’ ending on me.”
Regretably, I had my own weird “Sopranos” ending this year. Why do guys do it this way? Any of you have your own “fade to black” stories? Bring 'em on!

I love Katie also and want her to kick ass on the evening news. I am tired of everyone ripping her apart worrying about what she is wearing and who she is sleeping with.
