the hardest thing!

I am new here and this site truly is a God send. All of a sudden I don't feel so alone. I used those very words "the hardest thing", shew!! but the best thing yes "the best thing". Seems his true colors came out in the end huh? But look at you now your eyes even smile. God bless you keep on keeping on. Life truly is like the seasons and a time for each one. But know for sure they are always changing for the good of all.
You all give me hope.
Divorced 2 Months after 35 years.....
I'm 56 I will make it. I just didn't expect all this deep pain, yet I am SO glad to be free and find me.
Thank you
Donna

Not sure if this is

Not sure if this is something I want to share in, but I'm soooo tired of being .... the lonely divorcee! I've kept busy with work and more work so I wouldn't have to think about a relationship. It's been @ 16 years since my divorce - no boyfriend - no male friend - but now it's even just about having girl friends - single and my age.

Am very down to earth - tell it like it is type person - have become very strong with my thoughts and actions - many people don't like that - or should I say, can't cope with it (they always wants things sugar coated). I just want to have 'entertainment' - someone to chat with - outside work.

Why I chose you to share with you .... don't know. Perhaps the similar age and after being married for 20 years.... plus I believe you are a Christian... God works in mysterious ways and things happen for a reason.

God be with you.

You're among friends

Welcome nkolosci! I just wanted to respond and let you know that you're among friends here, we understand what you're going through, and we're glad you decided to share with us.

We hope you'll stick around and share more!

Rianne
