Libra Seeks Serenity, Balance

It's Friday. Weekend is coming and I'm down deep in my on-going Libra head-trip. The endless quest for balance.

If you are a mom, if you are divorced, separated, remarried or somewhere in between, tell me please, I have know how you do it.

How do you juggle it? What do you do to create and maintain balance in your life?

Really, please, I'm begging here.

Balance

While I certainly don't have all of the balance answers, part of what I am learning three years post-divorce with two teenagers is that some things just aren't going to be like they used to be - housekeeping, home and car repairs, and anything else you can think of. As a fellow Libra, I believe that the key word IS balance. That means that somedays, BALANCE is more important than perfection. Sometimes you have to let one thing go in order to achieve balance by doing something else. My friend calls herself an "Imperfect Perfcetionist." It's easy to WANT perfection, but achieving it, or trying to, sometimes comes at a cost that's too high.

Balance

Hi Libra, Taking care of yourself mentally, spiritually, physically is key to achieving balance in your life. Being able to discern (with a healthy, clear mind) what needs to be priority at any given time in your day, week, month, and life will help you feel balanced and centered in all areas of your life.. For example, my definition of balance is making sure that I am taking time out to nourish my spirit, spending time with my children, exercising, and creating a positive, loving, and empowering life for me and my children. There will be days in your life where you feel like there are a million and one things to do around the house, work, etc but you have to ask your self...what is the most important priority right now at this very moment? Realize that no matter what ....everything that needs to get done will get done, but you cannot do it all in one swoop. I hope this helps. Angela www.ladyinbalance.com
