Tricia Walsh-Smith, the actress and playwright, is using an ingenious, never before seen, method to lash out at her estranged husband Phillip Smith, president of the Shubert Organization, the largest theater owner on Broadway. And the amount of heads she's turning, is nothing short of scary, for us all.
So, what is this new tactic? The answer may not surprise you, its YouTube. Yes, YouTube.
In a furious and stunning video with close to 150,000 hits to date, Tricia rails on her husband. She talks about their prenup and describes herself as an "f'ing idiot", for signing it. She goes into embarrassing details about their sex life, and at one point, with cameras rolling, calls Phillips assistant and fills her in on those details. She talks about how she is being evicted from her apartment, and takes the crew on a tour. She even brings out her wedding album and uses words such as, "evil" and "nasty," to describe her step-daughter and other family members. You can see it for yourself here.
Tricia's divorce attorney, Raoul Felder, called for comment on the video, termed the whole thing "funny, but there's also sadness. This is a victim who is holding her head up. I think she comes off well."
As for Mr. Smith, his office said he had no comment and his lawyers said they didn't, either - "other than that we're kind of appalled."
